We'll give you tips on how to work with your child to reinforce the valuable lessons they are learning.

Announcing………. Kim's Academy Summer Camp Programs

This year we are hosting our Kim's Academy Summer Camp so that this summer it could be better than ever!! The final plans are coming together for what's shaping up to be another incredibly fun, educational, stimulating and memorable summer camp. Here's just a peak at some of the activities— it's not too late to join the fun but spots are filling up very quickly! Each session is 3 weeks in length and run Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm. Early drop off and pick up are available.

Starting Dates: Session 1 - June 15. Session 2 -July 6. Session 3 -July 27. The cost is $450 per 3 week session.

Summer is here!!
Finally a break from the snow and cold. Summer is here and things are heating up for Kim’s Academy of Sandy’s upcoming 75th Belt Testing on June 20th. Keep practicing your one-step sparring techniques and your forms so that you’ll be ready to shine on testing day. Testing applications are due by June 13th.
A late fee of $5 will be assessed for applications turned in after the 13th.
We have to know how many students per belt rank will be testing in order for us to set the testing time schedule for each belt. Your cooperation in handing in the applications on time is vital for us to put out the testing time schedule in a timely manner. We appreciate your support and help on this matter. Best of luck to everyone testing!!!!!! Do your best and have fun!

Yellow Belts 9:00-9:45
Orange Belts 9:45-10:30
Green & Blue Belts 10:30-11:15
Brown & High Brown & Red Belts 11:15-12:30
High Red & Deputy I Belts 12:30-1:15
Deputy II & III Belts 1:15-2:00
Deputy IV & Children Black Belts 2:00-3:00
30 Minute Break 3:00-3:30
Adults All Belts 3:30-End

We would like to wish everyone that is testing for Black Belt this Saturday the 6th in Centerville the best of luck. Don’ t forget to stay focused and drink lots of water throughout the day. Remember that it’ s a celebration of the many years of hard work, dedication, sweat, and tears. You’ ll always be a Black Belt for the rest of your life. No one can ever take that away from you. You’ ve earned it! Don’ t forget to give your parents and family members a BIG bow after the testing to show your love and thanks for helping you reach your goal

2009 Best of State Winner!
Last Saturday night Master Markman and Mr. Dutson attended the Best of State Gala where we were honored to receive the award for Best Martial Arts School in Utah. It was very humbling and exciting. We are deeply honored to be voted the top school in the state. We couldn’ t have done it without the outstanding leadership of Master Markman and our wealth of great instructors.
Most importantly we couldn’ t have done it without the support of all the parents and students. You’ ll never know how much we appreciate your support and loyalty to our school over the years. Being voted Best of State is humbling and comes with great responsibility. It inspires us to be even better instructors in the development of all of our students and to help build a better
